Lollipop Covers

From the very first time I saw the Tart and Tangy set I knew it would end up in my stamp collection!  I think it is a great set - the images are perfect.

I've used the Marker pens to colour in the images and then just punch out the image with the 1 1/4" circle punch.  Layering the images onto and 1 3/8" circle and the lovely scallop circle punch makes these little lollipop covers so quick and easy.

These were my make and takes at the recent Paperific show - and little kids and big kids loved them!  I think they are a great way to celebrate a little ones birthday or how about replacing the fruit with a snowflake from  Snow Swirled to create a little festive treat.

Quick and easy, a great gift at a party or for a whole class of kids ... and the kids can help make them too.  If you would like  the template just give me a shout - or come back in a day or two and I'll have one uploaded for you to copy.

Making Merry Monday # 20

Goodness me ... is this really week 20?  Do I have 20 cards already?  Probably not ... I keep giving them away as samples .... going to concentrate this week on sorting out the family and friends cards ... I would never be able to show my face if this year, of all the years, my cards were late or non-existent!

Today's card is one for all the lovely Paperific ladies I met this weekend.  I am exhausted but gee I have had so much fun.  I was exhibiting on Friday and Sunday and it is an absolute pleasure to meet and chat with so many like minded crafty ladies ... hello to you all :o)

And here is a photo of the technique I showcased ... now regular readers of my blog will know that I am a fan of sponging and brayer ... and if you have signed up for my newsletter you will have received the technique sheet this month.

For all of you who have just found this website click here to find the details on how to make this quick and easy card.

Well that's it for today, hope you are having a lovely Merry Monday.

Oops nearly forgot ... the winners of the lovely baskets of goodies for the prize draw are Linae from Kensington and Agnes May from Hawthorn - you will be contacted by Sue Madex in the next day or two ... enjoy ladies :o)

CraftExpo Wrap Up

A big hello to all those that are exploring this site for the first time ... it was fantastic to share the day with so many craft enthusiasts .... CraftExpo was amazing ... such a shame I didn't get a chance to shop myself ... we were so busy from the moment the door opened until the last die hard shoppers were thrown out at 4.30pm.

Here's the stand with all the beautiful and inspiring ideas from the team of girls who took part in CraftExpo.  And that's Sue Bayliss and Ange Dickens who were my team mates for the day.  Check out their sites as they are both such talented ladies.

And here are the three of us .... stupid grins as it was the end of the day and we were completely worn out!

I loved meeting everyone ... and especially loved the demonstrating ... poor Sue had to nag me for her turn .... I gave all of my finished samples away so I'll whistle up another one and post it here during the week for you all to see.

Really looking forward to Paperific now ... we will be demonstrating and doing Make and Takes ... very exciting indeed!

Happy stampin

Love Nikki
